Health Sciences Division Humanities Forum
Wednesday, August 27, 2014, 2:00pm - 3:00pm
0505

The Loyola University Chicago Health Sciences Division Humanities Forum returns with another series of thought-provoking programs. The theme for the second season is “Courage.” Linda Brubaker, MD, MS, Dean and Chief Diversity Officer of the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, starts the series on Aug. 27, with “The Difference Between Courage and Crazy.” Is it possible that one person’s crazy is another person’s courage? What is that difference? Attendee opinion will help generate heat and light in this challenging discussion of the differences between courageous and crazy actions using examples from contemporary medicine.
