At Loyola University Health System, when a patient is referred to us, we view collaboration with the referring physician as a truly invaluable asset. We believe that through cooperation we can find the most effective way to care for patients – care that goes beyond the medical condition to treat the whole person.

At Loyola, we have a dedicated registered nurse to facilitate an appointment with a specialist. You will receive an appointment on average within seven days or sooner based on activity

Know that when you refer a patient to Loyola, our commitment is to keep you informed of our diagnosis and treatment plan and to refer back to you for follow-up care.

To begin the process, please call the Physician Referral Hotline at (708) 327-DOCS (708-327-3627). Our referral nurse is available Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM. After hours you may speak to an associate who will take a message for a return call the next business day or connect you to an on-call physician.
