Otolaryngology & Audiology

Most children will have their share of sore throats and earaches over the years. When things get more serious, they may require treatment from the Otolaryngology & Audiology program of the Ronald McDonald® Children’s Hospital of Loyola. From tonsillitis to sinusitis, we care for children with a variety of problems involving the ear, nose and throat, including:

  • Allergies
  • Complex airway disorders
  • Congenital head and neck masses
  • Excessive drooling
  • Head and Neck tumors
  • Hearing loss
  • Nasal Obstructions
  • Recurrent ear infections
  • Sinus Infections and treatment
  • Sleep apnea (temporary cessation of breathing)
  • Swallowing disorders
  • Tonsillitis
  • Voice disorders

Our physicians can perform a broad range of treatments and surgical procedures, including tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, removal of aspirated foreign bodies (peanuts, etc.), ear drainage tubes, nasal surgery, correction of airway obstructions and facial plastic surgery.
