Title:
Treatment Therapy for Acute Graft Versus Host Disease (GVHD) After an Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplant
Purpose:
The primary objective of this study is to find a more effective treatment for acute GVHD in people who have had an allogeneic blood stem cell transplant.

Elgibility:
You may be eligible to participate in this study if you have acute GVHD that developed after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant using either bone marrow, peripheral blood stem cells or cord blood.
Treatment:
You will receive either a placebo or mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) along with prednisone or methylprednisolone (steroids), which are standard treatment for acute GVHD.
